Robert Castellani, UK ‘Guitarist of the Year’ Grand Finalist in 2002, 2003 and 2011, is renowned as one of the country’s ‘best young guitarists’. 2010 saw the release of his first eagerly anticipated CD plus recordings with singer Anna Pancaldi. His broad range of techniques like right hand tapping and percussion on the guitar whilst playing have gained him over a quarter of a million views on YouTube and exposed his music, including his own compositions, all over the globe.
Recorded at Lindos Studios Sept 2011. "This is a tune I wrote in tribute to the late, great Eric Roche. I first saw him play in 2002 in Birmingham, UK and he was quite simply outstanding. Ever since seeing and hearing his style, I have included similar techniques in my own playing".

Recorded at Lindos Studios 2011. "I began writing this song on a beach near where I live. Aldeburgh is on the East coast of England and home to famous composer Benjamin Britten. I sat on the beach opposite his old house and looked down to the next village along where I could see the church rising above the trees. This inspired the bell imitation at the opening and the song developed from there!" The tuning for this song is DADGAD and played on my 1995 Lowden O23"

Recorded at Lindos Studios Sept 2011. A traditional song played on a prototype Kingsfleet Baritone Guitar to demonstrate the deep rich tone. "This is an old English folk song about a young man forced by a press-gang to become a sailor in the night and leaving his young lady behind. Although this originally had lyrics, I have created this instrumental arrangement. Composed using AEADEA (DADGAD) tuning and played on my new prototype Kingsfleet Baritone Acoustic Guitar."
